First, let me say that you can't ask for a better bunch of people to deal with. Marianne and Hawk are absolutely top notch! It was a total pleasure dealing with them.

After having the trans built by a "local" builder blow up and leave me stranded on the side of a highway for the 5th time (do not ever, EVER, deal with Level 10 transmissions in NJ... EVER), it was time to call HTS. The trans is a full billet 48RE and triple disk convrter. The previous trans also used a billet triple disk, but the new converter is tighter. When it locks, it LOCKS. The first few times it locked in overdrive at part throttle it startled me and I let off of the throttle! With the previous trans and converter the truck would initially spin the tires from a dead stop when the turbo lit, but then almost immediately it blew right through the trans. With the new HTS trans and converter when the turbo lights, the tires roast for as long as you can keep the truck straight. It feels like there is an honest 100 more horsepower getting to the rear tires now with the HTS trans with the TNT and Striker 2 at the same power levels as before. Shifting is firm but not abusive. It definately gives you a good thump, but nothing at all that I personally would consider excessive.

The trans is BY FAR the best money spent so far on the truck. It's transformed the truck into a completely different animal. The full billet HTS trans is a BEAST!!! Those of you who are on the fence about spending the coin on an HTS billet trans, DO NOT HESITATE. You WILL NOT be sorry! Thank you again, Marianne and Hawk!
