MY TRIPPLE PILLAR MOUNT IS BROKEN!!!!!!!!! ARRRGGGGHHHH!!! I've been waiting for over 1-1/2 weeks for my pyro and transmission temp gauges (boost showed up last monday) and my pillar mount, and now that they came today, my mount is broke!!! All three pods are cracked down the left-hand side. I'm not sure, but I don't think it's supposed to be like this, is it? I mean, it looks pretty crappy to me. Man, I've got everything wired up too (for power and what not).
Also, where should I connect the one red hotwire that comes off the pyrometer??? It only says "to 12v+ source", but it doesn't really say what it's for. I'm guessing it's the power to get the reading from the probe? Does it go straight to a hot wire, or should it be a "key on" type setup? Will the same fuse that I have my comp hooked into work for it as well as the transmission temp "key on" wire?
One last question for my pyro install... will a 1/4"x1/8" NPT fitting work for installing it pre-turbo? Or should I get something smaller to screw the 1/8" part from the pyrometer into? Or do you guys just tap the pyro straight into the manifold w/o any fitting?
