I ordered a bunch of stuff from DTT and part of it is to be delivered here in Texas next weekend (torque converter, valve body, and pan) and part of it was to be shipped (injectors, fuel pump kit, and turbine housing). I got the fuel pump kit and turbine housing yesterday in the mail from Diesel Dynamics the box says "C201 96-98 Dodge Kit" . I would like to put the fuel pump kit in today but I am confused because when I go to the Diesel Dynamics website it says the C201 kit is only good for an additional 60 HP. I had originally told Bill & Stephan that the target horsepower for my truck was 450. They tried to talk me out of that much and really recommended 350. I didn't want to, but I finally gave in but told them I wouldn't be happy with less than 350 and would prefer it closer to 400. They assured me it would be at least 350 and probably a little more and that they would have a plate made just for me and my application (daily driving with 5% towing). I told them I wanted the 370 injectors and they said OK. All that said, heres the question. Which plate did I get? Is the plate the same in all thier kits? I don't want to put the plate in and then talk to them on monday and find out they sent me less than a serious plate as I requested. I could use some input and advice from some of you with more whiskers on this than me please. Sorry this post is so long.
