Archived Got new built transmission can't get tc installed

I'm trying to install some of my new transmission in my 03 but my tc want go in the trans it like the shaft that turns the pump is to big for the bushing behind the front seal.

rotate it while applying light pressure,it will fall into place,be patient.

Is it supposed to be that tight going in becauase I used a rubber mallet to tap it just so I could get to go end about an inch

It sounds like the person who put the bushing in did not fit it to size.

Stop where you are and get it checked. It is a close fit but never should need a hammer to get it together.
