Competition Got to see a XXX hp dyno run today!

Down in Bowling Green, KY.

"Stuckey" Race team from Georgia brought out their Green toy with some large slicks on it.



Looks like a full modified drag truck, cage, lightened, tubbed, you get the picture.



Well they ran it once earlier in the day on Dunbar's DynoJet it netted 455hp.

Reportedly there was a problem with the fuel shutdown solenoid.

Anyhoo several hours later they had it back up on the dyno.



AND SMOKE IT DID! 767RWHP!!! Diesel only!(from what I could tell).

Heard similar news, was only #2 from what I heard. That truck is gonna fly.

Nice. I dig the reduced weight of a 2wd, but equally dig the thought of a 4x4 running low ET's.

It was 757 Hp. The truck is a pro street truck weighing a minnimum of 5500 pounds...

Oops... I heard the 767 while it was on the dyno with the engine still running.

I should clean out my ears next time!

it was in a beefed 2wd 1500 chasis too... ... . IFS suspension. uke:

All Earl did was spend about $50,000 and wah-la, a race truck. I really expect that truck to get to a 10 flat. Its been back halfed with the comp eng ladder bar setup. Darren built the engine and a shop in Fla did the pump.



And by the way, Darren now has the ET record for DHRA . 10. 73 for a 4X4, 5500 lb truck. Pretty fast truck.
