I had them check the injector return flow and lift pump pressure. lift pump pressure is good and the return flow. they told me it flares on decel and shutdown. it has 175ccm @ idle, 500ccm under load, and flares to 300ccm. Can anyone tell me what this means? They said the injectors will need to be replaced eventually.

Cubic Centimetre per minute to litre per minute/1000, 175ccm = .175lpm, 300ccm = .3lpm, 500ccm = .5lpm. This is what they measured for return fuel flow and I do not know off the top of my head what it should be...I was thinking less than 120lpm @ idle, but my mind is currently befuddled by pain relieving chemicals. Looks to me they may have been visiting my doctor, because their measurements are not making sense...

1 litre per minute = 1000 cubic centimetres per minute

And yes to what Prairie Dog said.

Excessive return flow spikes indicate injector hangs, meaning they hang open too long or are allowing too much fuel to return to the return fuel line section of the fuel system..... It's a function of electronic injectors, but I'm curious how they're measuring it. Those are extremely precise measurements to be quoting.....

And yes, the injectors will have to be replaced eventually.... they all will. Even in my 12v trucks....

I see you have the TS Powerplay... did they remove that before testing your injector return flows? As a function of remapping, it can, does, and will affect injector pulse width, with affects return fuel volumes, especially under acceleration.....
