This is my first posting, glad I'm finally with everyone, please be gentle. I'm planning on replacing brake pads and shoes. I want good stopping power but also some decent mileage (45-55K)out of them. Any suggestions? Thanks and I return the favor.

Welcome 19KGVW! A lot of people have recommended pads and shoes made called friction metalic. I believe auto zone sells these.

performance friction pads from auto zone seem to work the best for the front, for the back just get the best shoes you can find,
if your going to replace rear wheel cylinders
go for the bigger size 1 1/8 dia. i think the stock pieces are 7/8.

Power Wagon, yes, I have looked into them (BD has my nod) and they do have a spot on my "to do" list for the Dodge, but right now it's a dollar issue and good pads/shoes is all I can do. Thanks though.
