I've read about the high rpm spring mod and was wondering about how the pump responds at "normal " driving conditions. for instance, does the pump respond better on hills at cruising speeds or does this mod only help fueling up to higher rpms?... . Thanks for the info.....

It seems to act a bit different. It's like saying yes in some ways and no in another.

The spring pulls the governor towards more fuel and the weights work to decrease fuel. The 366 spring will tend to pull towards more fuel (stiffer spring) but the weights are still there preventing overspeeding.

I can tell you that from my perspective (in the drivers seat) the 366 spring has made the engine more responsive to input from my right foot as well as the speed control. The speed control acts a bit different but it's not a negative thing. Still hold speed up and/or down a hill to within 2/3 mph.

Also will allow for higher engine rpm's in "most" instances.
