Can I ask where the best proper spot the arm should a number *0* plate about a 3/32nd ahead of stock. Should it just hit at the bottom, or up a little bit??? Thank you, Marc
if you have a zero plate in which is flat no lip at bottom at all bring it up some so that you don't have a problem with it every wanting to slip under the plate.
I know some guys that when they make a zero plate they leave a lip like on the 100 so it prevent the governor arm from ever popping under the plate and possibly hanging up.
The lip sounds like an excellent idea. Now if i ever come across another plate to grind I will do that. This plate came like this and I have no way of doing that now. . If anyone has a stock plate for sale, I am as interested as one can get..... Thank you, marc
