Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Governor lever adjustment

I think I know the answer but... My lever goes right on by my "0" plate. Would this be like running without a plate?? Thank you, Marc

Don't do it if you want to keep that pump. No plate = bad pump in a short time.

I'm not familiar with "0" pales, et. al. , but I do know that when my gov. lever missed my plate (by sliding under it) I had a pretty weak truck. When I raised the lever to make contact with the leading point of the plate, ZOOM!, a world of power increase.
