Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Governor spring kit install instructions

If anyone can post the basic instructions for installing a governor spring I would appreciate it. I haven't purchased yet, but am thinking about it. I want to see what is involved before ordering. Thanks. JH

Chipster, I believe JHenry's referring to the P-7100 governor spring install. In that case, there's an excellent tech article at Piers Diesel that is the same as the one sent in the kit. You can find it here: PDR Diesel Inc. The turbo diesel performance specialists! - 12V GSK



Its really not as hard as it seems or looks. Take that plug out and it's right there.

Thank you. Now I need to check with TST to see if they actually recommend the GSK on my engine with a #5 plate. And if I need to install 60# valve springs. I guess I will need to do that anyway when I get around to an exhaust brake.

You won't regret the GSK, especially if you have a stick!
