Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Governor spring studs

I have a question.



I have read multiple posts stating that you cannot use the measurement of the protruding governor spring studs to set governor spring tension or at least to balance them with the same tension. Are the studs REALLY this imprecise? In my experience I have found nothing involved with the P7100 to be imprecise.

Worked for me too. I was under the impression it was the only way to do it. It's how they have it in the instructions.

It is more likely they could not get an accurate measurement with the tools they had
