I get a bit of a "surge" at 2500+ under light throttle-- just enough to hold speed. Note I see this in lower gears, I havent tried running 100 down the freeway for diagnostics. Im sure the sherrif would accept that excuse  .

At any rate, I can only replicate this with the TST p-max 2 ON. I noticed it yesterday waiting to pass a slow car, in 3rd gear at about 2600. Goes away (or seems to ) when you smash the throttle, and its a bit hard to watch but the fuel, or green colerd light on my box goes out with the "off" side of the surge. Kinda feels like a mech gov. streached too tight. About 2-3 cycles per second, fairly quick i guess.

Fuel pressure appears to be in check, should I do a flow test? My current fuel press. gauge situation prohibits me from watching it while driving.

From what I know about the VP my initial thoughts were a fuel pressure or even sucking air problem.

Is this something that sounds like a APPS? I cant really see the pump wire connetion, worth taking that appart?

Not a 911 yet, and If there is no serious jepordy, this may well have to be lived with-- I have to go out of town for some training next monday AM, wont be bac till thurs and my truck has to get me there, and more importantly BACK!! :-laf

A bit long, but the flags up, will some one salute?

hard to say what the problem is without knowing what your fuel pressure is

with a stock fuel system , fueling box & injector upgrades you could easily be short fuel supply

14 psi at idlle, playing with the throttle yielded no less than 11 or 12 so much as i cn tell. I hve Diagnostic gauges, but the IN CAB westach wont be there untill saturday.

The gauge I used yesterday was a bit big, like 40 or 50 psi so small movements were not very pronounced.

Still on stock injectors. The thought of fuel volume comes to mind, but I didnt really think a pmax2 was that much over stock (277 rwhp last month). Plus I have no other typical "no fuel" problems, the engine runs well under load and thruogh the bottom 3/4 of the tach..... Time will tell I suppose.

14 idle, but suprisingly easy to suck down to about 7psi wot. "surge" happens at ~11.

Got a chance to replicate the sympom some-- Begining to think its a qurk (poroblem?) with TST2.
