I can't get my garmin gps3+ to communicate with aaa map n go on my PC.

Anybody else have this problem?

Anybody else able to connect gps 3+ with ANY pc program?

(I have the combination pc/power cord. You can also get just a power cord, but then you can't get dc power when you want to hook to your pc. power cord works great.
I also have the remote antenna so I don't have to keep unit on dashboard to get max reception. )

I can't answer your question, but I do have a question for you. Have you figured out a way to hook up the GPS III+ to the 12v power source? Mine is really hard on batteries, especially when I use the backlit option at night. Thanks.

Take a look at http://joe. mehaffey.com/ and see if they have what you are looking for. Lots of info on Garmin Units. I run mine with the 12V accessory power cable and have no problems with batteries. Good Luck!

I don't know about hooking the Garmin to the Map & Go, I do know that you hae to download the data to your PC and the program works with that. I use Delorme's gps and it really works well, comes complete with all the cables you need and is designed to work with Streets or M&G. Good luck
