Grasshopper mowers

I have a friend that wants to upgrade his grasshopper mower to the new model with the kubota diesel engine and is looking to sell his old one. I forgot to ask him the model but it has 230 hours is about 6 years old. It has the rear bagger, mulcher deck and the power lift on the deck. It is powered by the 25 hp Kohler motor. What is the machine worth and what should a guy be looking for in the way of problems? I have never had a grasshopper but I think that they are a good mower, am I right?

No personal experiance with them, but from the couple of people I know that own them, they really like them.
