I've heard you can use grease gun hose for the connection between the banjo fitting and the mechanical fuel pressure isolator. I checked at some auto part stores, and the only grease gun hoses they have are male fitted at both ends, while I need a female fitting. Do any of you know of a necessary adaptor? My only other option (that I can think of) is to order a fuel line made by autometer for $30-$40.

Why not join the two male ends with a coupler? They are about an inch long with female threads on both ends. Can be purchased at most auto parts stores and many places that handle plumming supplies.

What you need is a 1/8" pipe coupling to make female threads out of your male grease gun one. Most any hardware or auto parts for under a dollar. Make sure the GG hose you buy has tapered threads, some are straight.

I have used the grease gun hoses for oil pressure lines and they have worked great. I even used one for a remote electric sending unit for a oil pressure. Be sure to ground the sending unit if it is electric if you use a grease gun hose. I have thought I would use a needle valve along with a grease gun hose to check fuel pressure. IMOP JimK
