Hi,

I just crawled under my 04 Ram 3500 and the only grease zerks I could find are 2. They where on the tie rod ends. Is that all there are, or am I blind.

Thanks

Alas, that's all they give us now. I can only hope that when it comes time to replace my ball joints and U-joints some aftermarket models with grease fittings will be available.

Thanks for the reply rbattelle. Now I know I didn't miss any!

Lets hope those ball joints last awhile!

There are absolutely no zerks on my 04. I am amazed that you had some on yours. Oh well!

Yes there are, there are two at the tie rod ends. Keep looking, they are there. Mine were covered from the factory with some kind of tape or something. :)

I'll admit, you had me thinkin!

I just had to go look again  Nope, the gremlins still did'nt put any on mine :D Sure do wish that there were some though. All that is on the top of my tie rod ends is some kind of metal cap. And it is to low to harbor a zerk.

No zerks on third gen two wheel drive trucks. DC saved . 50 cents per truck. It also sells more parts too. Win/win for DC. As usual, the customer is the loser.

That's true, I've never inspected the 2wd trucks for zerks, mine is 4x4. Are you sure Casey? Even on my 4wd they are hard to find. Fwiw, they are under the tie rod ends, not on top Barbwire. You are probably right though, although they could be hiding! =] Mine were actually covered with some kind of black tape.
