greasegun hose.. 18" or 12"

Grainger has a greasegun hose that is 12 in. long but has the coupler on it that I don't need, right? It is more expensive than the 18 in. without the coupler. Will the 18 in. hose matter on my fuel pressure gauge?

I used 18-20" of fuel line for remote mount of sender,no "snubber", nice and steady . Jim G.

I purged mine. Being the duma-- that I am, I loosened the fitting BEFORE I bumped the starter. Bad Idea, I had a little diesel sprinkler until I could get out and tighten it.

Todd T,, yes Vandalia is about 7 miles from me. I did end up finding one for $2. 31. I will use that one, 18" , that way I have room to locate a place for it to mount.

Let us know where you mount it. I recently got an 18" hose but I haven't yet got a really good idea where and how I'm going to mount the sender.

Put mine on an existing bracket

I pulled the bracket off the master cylinder that holds the hydraulic assist lines, and drilled it for the 2" U-bolt I used to hold the sender. Then, I purchased a 1/8" NPT female ell and a male with a female swivel nut fitting from my local aeroquip dealer for about $4. 00 total. This lets me remove the hose from the sender without having to spin the sender.

That looks real good. I think I will probably mount mine there. I have had my gages for about 4 to 5 weeks now and still aren't on. I am waiting on my stealership for my Aerosal Can for my A-pillar. Someday... . Thanks

Flexible trim paint

I bought mine at an auto body supply house for about $15. 00. It is Tan SEM Flexible Trim Paint and matches my interior perfectly. All I did was wipe down the A-pillar with some urethane reducer to clean it and soften it up for the paint. Worked great.



I probably won't use the 80% of the can I have left. If anyone wants it, find out if you can ship aerosol spray paint, let me know where to send it and pay the postage, and you can have it.

TJ, I've had a cheapo gg hose on my '95 for six years with no signs of degradation

I picked up 2 18 inch hoses, even Made in the USA at the New Holland Dealer that I use for 3 bucks each.
