Thanks for putting this thing together. Quite entertaining. Lots of fun putting faces to a lot of names. Thanks for the refreshments, that was quite unexpected and beyond the call.

Great time

Yeah Mike this was a great idea and thanks for making it happen :)

The crowd was great as usual, as well as the entertainment. Several guys whipped out their paintbrushes & buckets of Rubber Black and did a fine job of painting up the street out front  . The local law enforcement was quite impressed!

Most of us were effective in putting our HP to the street, but then there is my little ETH that put the power to the clutch  Now it's time to dig the SBC out of the closet and hook it up.

The dyno was another thing, my stunning 200hp was accomplished with the Hi Idler switched on by the operator's knee  Oh well Dyno Day is not far away!

That was a great time, I am still blowing the soot out of my nose from Jim F's dyno runs. I was happy with my numbers... they were within three HP of the dyno I use locally. Time to upload a new set of electrons. :)

Thanks Everyone

Had nothing but fun today, 1st time ever on a dyno. Special thanks to the people at DTT for the pointers & in getting my "nerve bugs out". Thanks to all for a friendly atmosphere as well. The only thing I didn't like about this event was feeling guilty after leaving Georges shop so messy. This guy runs a very clean shop. Think I'll call him on monday & come clean after hours being I'm local. Cant wait till next time folks !!!------Proflow

"Officer, these are diesel trucks! They're too sluggish to burn rubber. Those tire marks had to have been done by some punks in lowered Acuras!"

Scott R (???)

??? = auto.

First time on the dyno.

Thanks for setting it all up Mike. I had a good time.

I had to leave before it was all done and I'm curious... How often did the law show up and what, if anything, did they do or say?

Man, what an AWESOME display of horsepower!

Mr. Fuller, you are the man! Six hundred and thirty-four brake horsepower!!!!:eek:

:--)

Man, I'm glad I didn't bring my Ram! Not only did I not have a prayer, I didn't have a porch nearby to stay on either!

Seriously, what an incredible display of awesome machinery. . from mild to wild... and that includes power levels as well as modifications to each Ram. I've gotta tell ya though, my personal favorite was the black First Gen. Ram..... what an awesome ride! In addition, Dave Perea's Ram looked and ran extremely well as usual!

Also, I received my "care package" from Jason Burton (of NW Custom)... hand delivered directly to me... is that awesome service or what?!

Needless to say, I had an absolute awesome time talking to all my friends and putting names to faces of new friends! The only thing that could have made the day better was if my buddy Big Bob would have been there! The only other thing that could have made it better is if the day had been longer!

:)

Oh My Oh MY!!!

Congratulations to Jim Fuller for outdistancing the pack. Looks like the auto is diverting a bit of his horsepower.

Vaughn has some homework to do now:)

Good work MikeR, looks like a smokin' success!:D

OK, I'm curious. What setup does Mr Fuller have on the engine and transmission? Did his run include drugs? What kind of tires, what tire pressure, and are any weight additions required to transfer high horsepower to the dyno rollers?

hvac

my bd race transmission is working great. :D it was not the transmission's fault my #'s were low. i hard the convertor locked and it didn't slip a bit. part of my problem was i had no fuel pressure!! even with my pusher pump. i guess i should break the motor in a little 1st. i had 3k on the clock.

miker

thanks for putting on a great event it was great, even though the local pd wanted to chat with me. :-{} sir this truck pulls a gooseneck trailer with a truck on it, there is no way it could do a burn out.

it was great seeing everyone again, and thanks rob for a place to crash.

Awesome First Time Out

Jim, good report on the transmission. Very impressive:)

Of course your right about the lack of break in on your new engine. That will work in your favor in the future. Maybe you can find a "Hot Walker" in "A River Runs Through It" to put some legs under that pubecent motor:) Then you can come down here and do some sled pulling eh?

its all great

Jim, My hats off to you yesterdays display was awesome.

My next "gotta see" is Joe D's 600HP on #2 only

After seeing "drugs" introduced into the mix, which is awesome for sure.

But if Joe D. can hit 600HP without propane or nitrous that is unreal.

When Bill K. hit the nitrous yesterday I felt a turtlehead

BTW Jim Fuller is the one of the nicest guy's you could ever meet

Keep it going Jim :)

AAAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEEE!!!!!

Congrats Jim on a job well done--now about HVAC's offer to come on down and sled pull... ..... :D... ... chris

Just want to say 'thanks' for a fun day. Some very nice trucks and lots of power. I think tacoma should pay us for repaving their street for them.

See ya all next time

Mike R

Thank you for the event (I know there's a lot of planning involved) I had a good time, and as allways it was fun catching up on the stories other wise known as (B. S. ) I'll bet 10-15% of those stories have some truth involved. :D :D ! Any way I just wanted to thank you personally.
