I think great dealerships that we have had a chance to work with deserve a mention.

In my area Chicago, I bought my truck from Miller Kruger Dodge in Liberty Ville,IL.

The service dept is the best. When I tell them what is wrong with my truck, they order the parts and fix it. Last week I told them about the overflow problem on inclines with the Cummins. They said we will order the parts and call you. All dealers should take a lesson from them, I used them with my gas truck, and bought my Diesel from them.

When I call service or parts they know my name. That means a lot to me.

‘Bought my Baby three years ago from Melton’s in Claremore, OK. They’ve always treated me great, they know what they’re doing, and if they don’t, they take the truck right on down to Cummins. The Cummins shop told me the same thing, but said Melton's is a class act that rarely has to bring a CTD to them - unlike all other Dodge dealerships in the NE Oklahoma area.

I’ve since moved to the KC area, and with great fear and trepidation took my Beast to Sunflower Dodge to check out a shifting problem. (I’d been warned by a Brand F owner to never go there. ) ‘Turns out they have a Diesel mechanic who really knows his stuff. I stayed in the bay with him while we worked, and was always up-front with him about my mods. By the time I left with a new APPS and throttle valve cable, the entire WO was written up as Warranty Work, saving me a couple hundred bucks that I clearly should have been responsible for! I AM my own warranty station. (The owner, general manager and service managers all got nice letters about their great mechanic ;) as a result. I've found that kind of stuff goes a long, long way... )

Bottom line, two dealerships, two winners. I wish all the kind of good fortune I’ve had so far.

BTW, I still drive down to Melton's for regular maintenance (oil/filter/lube/etc). $9. 81 total - I can't buy the oil that cheap 55 gallons at a time!

Just thought I would add my . 02 here. I got my truck from Burgin Dodge in Knoxville TN and they have done me right from the beginning. I have been so please with this dealership that I bought my wife a car from them as well.

Thanks,

Eric

Mullen Motors In Southold NY are #1. They fix it right the first time and no BS. Tell them the problem and they repair or replace. Had a steering box bind and with in 24 hrs a new one installed. Today new lift pump. They are a small dealership but service sell cars. Sold 85 new ones in Aug. One young sales lady sold 45. She sells a lot of trucks also. Just too bad that some dealers are such SOB's. You would think they have to foot the bill for warranty work.

The Dodge dealership in Pueblo, CO treated me great when I was passing through and had a lift pump quit working. When they found out I was traveling through, they took my truck in immediately and had me on the road in less than 2 hours.

Great Dealership

All American Dodge in Odessa, Has alway's shown concern when we have had a problem, willing to do what ever it take's to fix the problem, also not to good to listen to an idea, to correct a problem.

Anchorage Chrysler Dodge, Excellent sales-Fleet Dept. References available upon request. Very competitive pricing with the big fleet guys in the lower 48 states. Since 1999 it hasn't worth it for me to fly to Idaho and drive back to Alaska.

Service dept, Excellent. Recently had a ring and pinion sing on my 02 2500 at 40 mph. Called the service manager who agreed probable cause. Ordered the ring and pinion, relaced the set and all bearings last week on an appointment in one day. Singing noise gone! Now all I hear is the CTD humming away. Good service personnel and mechanics. :) :) :)

To the naysayers Pit bull and Dane there are some good dealers & people out there.

In the DC metro area the guys at Jerry's dodge have been helping me with all my warranty issues for the past year, and have a great bunch of guys in the parts dept. Great to see all the positive input. MervOo.

Town & Country Dodge in Wilsonville has always gone the extra mile for me and my other Dodge owning friends. Many thanks to Mitch & Lori!!!
