I've installed BD's gearshift lever on/off switch to my Cummins Ebrake.

This thing is way cool! Oo.

Fingertip control of the brake, can easily shut off at traffic lights,

AND can easily feel if I turned it back on after the light.

Now I'm gonna use that old dash mounted switch as an anti theft device hooked into the clutch/starter circuit.

roadranger,

I left the OEM switch inline with the switch I put on the shifter mounted one. I found that when you take it someplace to have something done to the truck (tires, etc. ), that some guys will play with things. So now I just use the OEM switch to disable the e-brake.

on my 98 (manual trans) I had the BD hooked up to the brake light circiut. (blue wire in Trailer Brake harness under dash if I recall) It would only come on when I hit the brakes! After trying it, I liked it better then the normal hookup. Just touch the brake pedel and it would come on.

I was going to put in a SPDT switch with Center off, so I could use the brake both ways, but ended up traiding in the truck before I got around to it.

I had the BD switch in, but the rattling was rattling my mind. I used it for three years with a rubber band around it. Then I saw Pacbrake's new switch. Oh baby! It should be coming in the next week, would have been here already if not for the holiday.

danelle has the new pac switch, I think she likes it, also the standard 2 speed switch can be modded by bpine to eliminate the rattle
