GREAT experience with J&H Performance

I had the good fortune to meet and have J&H Performance in Redding, Ca. work on my truck. I had been having some shifting problems with my DTT trans and Bill K sent me to Joel at J&H.

Joel and Harvey have a nice and very busy shop on the north end of Redding. Joel does the DTT work so he took command and started to diagnose the shift problem that I was having. He checked the pressures and re-fitted my valve body with a different spring that would help on the low speed, second-third shift. He also inspected for any worn parts and did a "FIRST CLASS" JOB!!! If you don't want to make the trip all the way to Canada to see Bill K to do your trans, I would HIGHLY recommend Joel at J&H to do it for you. I felt 100% satisfied when I left because this guy did such a great job. My thanks also go out to Bill K for all of his patience and making the arraigments for me to see Joel.

On a scale of 1 to 10 ..... I give J&H a 15!!! Chris

Just what i would have expected,while in Vegas at may madness Jim Obyrne and myself had the the opportunity to have a cold one with Joel & Harvey,all i can say is what a great bunch of guys to get to know. They seemed very competent in there knowledge of diesels!!Keep up the good work guys!!!

Had Harvey and Joel install a DTT 91% convertor in my old truck and was extremly happy with the results, Harvey let me tool around in his BRAND NEW 2003 truck, makes me want to go out and get one till I think of payments again, going through that with my wifes 2003 TDI Jetta, so looks like I will still just make me an old Crewcab.



I towed back a 82 Crewcab on a 18 ft trailer and got just over 15mpg, with great results, now I can feel the old truck pull as my convertor actually works, the old dodge convertor had over 200k on it. Just finished putting in good gages that actually work now, best of all running down the highway emty I am at about 175 degrees both water and trans temp, with about 700 degres egt pre turbo.

J & H Performance

One of the highlights this year at May Madness was meeting Joel & Harvey and having a few cold ones. They are great guys and seemed to know what they were talking about but didn't have attitudes and that seems to be rare in thier line of work. I live in Az. and have still done bussiness with them and have nothing but good to say about them. I highly recommend them.
