Hey Y'all:

We need to report the good stories too. Waldorf Dodge in Waldorf MD just spent two days diagnosing the stumble problem on my truck. They weren't able to duplicate it and there were no trouble codes stored in the ECM. Thedecided to just load a new ECM software upgrade. They sincerely tried to fix my problem, they were polite and took good care of me.

DC may have some quality problems, but this dealer, Crewelge in Kerrville Texas and Becker Motor Company in New Braunfels Texas are truly 5 Star dealers.

Unless DC does something really stupid, I'll probably buy a crew cab Ram in 2003. Some of the dealers DO earn our business.

Wiredawg, I agree, but my dealer here in NC will be the first dealer to get its 6th star. really a good place to buy and get service, and no lot monkeys to mess up your truck. When I go in for service I give my keys to the tech, I don't even let the service writers in it. Pete

We need to make a map to the good dealer service depts. I tried doing that here a year ago,but most of the responds were,"my garage is the best"or "none of them are any good". We all know that isn't true,I like Parkway in Roseburg OR,highly recommend them. They're a zero star dealer though.

If you can let me know the name(s) of the folks you dealt with there. I have a couple of warranty issues I need to get resolved and would like to work with a dealer that has some Cummins knowledgeable techs and will treat you right. Seems like the place I bought my truck has gone down hill a little since July.

In the Utah area there is a small dealership in Morgan, Utah (twenty miles or so east of Ogden) called Carrigan Motors and they are great. Had some transmission work done by them and some troubleshooting mystery noises. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I have to agree about Crenwelge Motors in Kerrville, Tx. I didn't buy my truck from them but they have been super about handling warranty problems for me. They even give a discount at the Parts Dept.

I bought my 2000 at Becker used. I practically stole it. The neat part is the salesman put a Ram's head hat and a 4X4 hat on the dash for us. I thought that was real classy. #ad
