Just wanted to let you all know about the great service I got from Doug & Dawn at their shop Advanced Diesel Technology In WV. I purchased a FASS almost a year ago from another vendor. I have since relocated away from that vendor. I called Doug's shop on a weekend while I was commuting 500+ miles (& FASS Acting up) and sure enough he answered and told me to bring in by when I get back into town. :)

When back into town, I scheduled an appointment, and Doug took time to help trouble shoot the problem with my system. It is nice to know that there our a few "great" Diesel shops around that you can get more then just sales from. Service help and answers are very important in this "Your Own Warranty station world of High Performance Diesel. " Even at a small fee of 25. 00 for support it was a great bargain. Thanks Again to Doug & Dawn @ Advance Diesel Technology Oo.

Resolving FASS problem.

Unstead of just throwing parts at the FASS, we decided to narrow down the problem with the FASS. In doing so we check all connections, Checked fuel lines for wear or callapsed; then installed a manual fuel pressure guage right before the VP pump! In doing so, Doug plumped it without having to cut the direct feed from the FASS unit. (Great so no restrictions) It appears that the guages and or sending unit plugged directly into the FASS is what is giving false reading. The FASS is giving a steading output of fuel, even under Heavy throttle. (maybe 1-2 drop on wide open) 17psi-15psi. Just the Electronic guage is miss ready actual output of FASS :D

Thanks for the info, great to hear your FASS is reliable. I've been checking just about every thread I can on fuel pumps as I'm on my third. I currently have 20k on the third, but don't trust it as far as I can throw my truck. Was leaning toward the RASP but cannot justify the expense vs the FASS. Good to hear you solved the problem and it was your guage.

Thanks,

Casey

I also want to take a second to thank doug and dawn down @ ADT. doug did a fantastic job on my head (o-ringed, studded, . 20 marine gasket, 60#valve springs, and some general matience), and would reccomend him to anyone. he completed the work in a timely fashion, as he promised so i will be able to complete my trip home next week to texas for vacation. once again thank you ADT, looking foward to the next round of bombs! :D
