Competition Great Lakes area points race!

Okay Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky folks. I need to know how many guys would participate in once a month local drag race to compete for points? One race in each state per month. This is posted on several websites so let me know. I plan on getting a 5-6 race series going if we have enough (15 trucks) to verify doing it.

If you can have 1 in St. Louis ( Gateway/Madison) and 1 in Bowling Green count me in. Hopefully by next summer I will be in the 13s and ready to rock.

I would be interested in something like this as long as we knew the dates/locations well ahead of time. It is difficult for me to schedule time off from work.

Cooker, I will have the dates possibly by the end of January if we have enough "core" trucks. I know there will be alot that will show up to one or two, and that's fine, but I need 15 trucks that go to every one of the races.

It looks like I have until May 17 to get the truck all set

No entrance fees other than KY and that is $5, we are racing during their Sturday night fun night. We should have a great crowd for that.

The membership fee will probably be $30 and each member will get a t-shirt, decal and permanent number assigned. We will be DHRA (Diesel Hot Rod Association} Division 3. We need a good logo.

I don't know about Thunder in Muncie just yet, still working on some logistics.

Hi Eric, well as you know I have very little control of my schedule, but count me in for at least several of these events. I sure wish I could say that I'll make every one, but that is like saying I'll win the Lottery

I would like to be a part of this as well, I have no problem driving to all the events either.



Is my current setup qualified to drag race??

hopefully not talking out of place but I thank the big thing that we need a number so that eric can let the tracks know what to expect so we can run with our selfs



every one is quilified even if its an 89 stocker to a full tilt race truck being that it will be bracket racing everyone has the same chance George

if there is a row boat class and you need someone to make you guys look like rocket's I could be the token 6spder in the high 19's. I hope to be in muncie in 03 . With any luck I can tear up this crappy clutch and find a new one.
