The greatest smoke story is that the EPA noticed and took drastic action. Way to go, diesel boys, you just cost everyone who buys a new one thousands of dollars.

The really sad part is the smoke blowers are now posting YouTube videos of it. I watched a tv show last night on "rolling coal" where people were just being crazy. The only smart thing some did was video record their license plates. Now that really helps.

Has No one Rolled the Coal on someone that has Desperately Needed It in a Year?

We'll I have, some cheese head rolling 38-40 mph in a 55 two lane, windows down, arm out, ford explorer/ expedition with a triton v-8.

Finally i reach a passing zone on a two lane and this POS sees me starting to come around and mats it.

But hey, I'm rolling in a Cummins, with a Goerand Trans, and one of the 1st 100 Smarties with the ORIGINAL Program! And NO Exhaust RESTRICTIONS.

This Pisses Me Off! I Slap the Beast to the Floor and shoot past him like a dose of episom salts through a widow woman.

And if he got his interior sooted, WTF he had it CUMMINS! JMHO

Time to resurrect this thread. I work nights for the govt as an electroplater at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Two weeks ago on my way to work I encountered a new mustang with his windows down blipping his throttle at a red light. Cute gal in the passenger seat and two more in the back seat. Had my SMARTY set on 7. Angel on my left shoulder kept telling me not to but devil on the right shoulder got the better of me. 3rd gear launch quick shift to 5th glance in the rearview mirror and I can barely see headlights ! Guy stayed about 500yds away but followed me to the next light and got into the left turn lane so his passenger could holler at me. She was all smiles when she said she wanted to come ride with me for a while. On my way to work and she was probably 16. I laughed and rolled some more. I bet that guy NEVER blips his throttle at a CUMMINS again !

My inspiration comes from a youtube video titled UP 3985 Maximum Smoke. I am also a fan of all things steam-especially locomotives!

I can't believe this is still going.
Just yesterday I had one of the "kids" try n reel me in with his Acura accord after work. There is a 3/4-1 mile stretch of service road leaving the job, and I see him trying to close in. Now, I don't like hammering my cold oil burner, BUT I knew I had a lot of soot banked up in the kitty.
I just wood it in 4 and grab 5. Boy did he find out what coal was!
Sure enough I heard about it this morning.
