Took a few days off to watch the sandhill crane migration. Pretty cold (below freezing last couple nights). Beautiful day today though - picture sitting by campfire watching the birds fly in to the Platte River where they roost overnight.

Close; Windmill is about 12 miles from there. We were at Fort Kearney SRA.

What's been happening? Laid off from programming work - couldn't compete with the minimum wage programmers in India; cross trained trade-skill became a HD Mechanic (as in Harley-Davidson); ended up back into programming after a while.
