Greddy/HKS Turbo Timers

I have seen mention of the ISSPRO turbo monitor and the one Geno's sells, but I have not heard of anyone installing the turbo timers from Greddy and HKS. The ones from the Japanese manufacturers have some nice features and are cheaper to boot. The Greddy turbo timer is less than $100. Is there any reason nobody here has installed one? They are very popular on the imports and turbo cars. Some of the boost controllers are also quite impressive. One has boost controls which limit boost or add boost depending on your driving styles and what gear your transmission is in. This would seem to help save your gearbox and add power where you need it. Comments?

I was wondering the same thing... I like the idea of the timers, but the timers that are endorsed on this site seem pricey.

I guess I'll be a guinea pig. I'll buy one of the timers and get back with you guys about the install. I sure would love to find some harness connnectors so I wouldn't have to splice into the original harness. Any leads? Must I contact the dreaded dealer?
