I did a search before posting to avoid repeats. Wipers now come on low speed when left turn or 4-ways are active. Otherwise all accessories function normally. No error codes stored. pulling fuse for directionals or wiper (duh) solves problem. I have just replaced the multifunction switch thinking it the culprit - NOT. Tomorrow I am headed for a new CTM module as this shares output functions between the flashers and the wiper systems. Anyone heard of this, any ideas before I buy another part from the *******?? thanks!

An addendum - I can preserve all wiper and flasher function (except intermittent) without conflict by unplugging the CTM. IF the CTM is the problem - how does it know the flashers are operating? I see nowhere that the CTM 'sees' any turn/hazard activity!!!

If I've got folks stumped - we should all file THIS one away. The culprit is…a weak ground on the front park/turn socket (1. 2 volt offset from ground) was somehow sending voltage somewhere that would trigger the wiper circuit!! Funny thing the turn signal functioned normally and you wouldn't notice the drop in brightness until strapping in a new ground! One for the books.
