Today I installed an oil press switch into the top of my oil filter housing to deactivate the heater grids after the engine has been started. https://www.turbodieselregister.com...age=15&highlight=grid heater fix&pagenumber=2

After I finished it occured to me that this has other applications. Have you ever started your wife's/parent's car, got distracted then reached up and tried to start it again because it was so quiet:eek: only to be rewarded with the sound of starter gears trying to mesh with flywheel gears that were already turning??How about the new gen 3 owners who are used to a properly valved Cummins clatter. Wire that switch to the starter relay and all will be well.
