Brake Pull

parts question

This morning after starting my truck the headlights, instead

of dimming when the grid heater cycled, would go completly

out along with the dash lights and radio. When I tried to start

it at lunch instead of "Wait to start" the dash just buzzed.

It started normally so I don't think it is the battery. Is it

possable that the heater element is shorted out and drawing

to much current. Any tips on diagnosing the problem.

Check your body grounds. That is the small wire coming off the battery neg terminal. Unbolt it and clean up the terminal and the raditor support. Then see if everything works.

The starter and grid heater circuits are hooked to the engine for gounds.

Now on the next thought. You need to go into user control panel and setup a profile. (Top of the pages towards the right side).

That way when you post with a question we can tell what your truck is and what mods you have to help us better cure its ailments.

We all hope these are few and far between also. :D
