Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) grid heater not working

the grid heater on my truck has just quit working,it was in the 30 degree range last night and it would not come on when i left work to go home truck sat for 11 hours so it was cold any help.

cummins says that the 4 nuts on the terminal mounted to the driver's fender well should be tight. mine were loose as a goose. could also be your relay. at the firewall next to the shutoff relay... good luck

There are TWO of those relays and they are mounted on the fender wells. Follow the wires from the intake manifold back to find them.

well it turned out to be a bad air temp sensor,checked the 4 nuts and all were tight thanks for the info
