Does any one have a part # for replacement grid heater relay? Not a stock one but some thing like a ford starter relay and commonly available.

Do you mean the two selenoids below the left battery on the inner fender? If so, they are available from Allied Electronics for about 15 bucks but are slightly larger than stock. You need to fabricate a different bracket but it is pretty easy. I have the info somewhere but it is late. If no one else chimes in, I will dig it up and post it.

Steve,

'Personal' web sites just don't last forever. You may have found other threads with bad links to the PDF. I've changed ISP (and web sites) a time or three since first posting about it. My PDF describing the fab and installation of the Stancor relays can be currently found at: http://murent.us/dodge-heater-relay/

1. 5 years and still no signs of any troubles.

Neal, thanks for the Stancor suggestion. I try to give credit where it's due. Starting with your pattern, I modified it and shaped it like a "U". The extra metal shields the selenoids from the the cables.
