Haven't been driving my truck daily to & from work since my company gave me a service van to drive temporarily. Been noticing lately since it's been getting a little bit cooler in the AM that truck fires & then dies when started cold. Grid heaters appear to be working via reading the volt guage but didn't appear to be getting the job done.
After reading several posts in regards to "Grid Heaters" I checked the terminals coming from the relays & on the larger cables going to the grid heaters & found (2) finger tight & the other (2) I was able to tighten by probably two revolutions.
I guess what I'm saying is check those connections as stated in the several posts I read. I believe I've cured my problem as my grid heaters are really pulling the volt guage down now.
