I've noticed with my 2001 4x4 a slight grinding noise in the auto transmission on occasion when shifting into Park or Reverse while the 4x4 (hi or low) is engaged. The transfer case and 4 wheel drive works great, and with no problems, I was just curious as to what may be causing this grinding noise. Any ideas?
