Grooved Head question

Has anyone read up on the patented grooving of internal combustion engine heads developed by a Mr. Singh. Better yet has anyone tried it? It is a narrow small simple straight groove you file and/or dremel across head directed to spark plug or I suppose in diesels it would be toward injector. All in the interest of added turbulence for better mixing and more complete burn. A google search will work.
