Those are good prices. Its about $35 less than what I got at 4X4groupbuy.com this spring. I see that 4x4groupbuy is now $2359 for the same thing which is much more than Dynatrac's list price. It just shows you that you need to carefully research prices on anything you buy these days. If you need hubs I would say go for it.

I'm in and have called Dyna Trac to make sure I could still get the $4 per stud credit and order a kit without the studs. Although I talked to a person other than Dan the man I skpoke to understood that I was a TDR member and that Dan was handeling the group buy for us and that would be no problem. So looks like we need one more.

I'm in. Trying to decide if the dynaloc hubs are worth it. Isn't the only real difference the length they stick out?

I have had the Dynatrac Free Spin kit with the Warn locking hubs for a couple of years now. I am running H2 wheels (less backspacing than stock wheels) and the hubs barely extend beyond the wheel. If I were running stock backspaced wheels the hubs would stick out about 3" beyond the wheel. My choice, just on looks, would br Dynatrac hubs with stock offset wheels, Warn hubs with wheels with less than stock offset. I like the H2 offset wheels with the Dynatrac free spin kit because (1) I think the wider spacing of the wheel bearings will tollerate the less wheel offset better than the stock unit bearings, (2) less offset eliminates tire rubbing on the lower front suspension arms, and (3) I have a 'wide track' Ram! I have 315/70/17's without a leveling kit and run a lot of trails without any problems. With the 315's on stock wheels I had suspension arm and fender lip contact.

The hubs and wheel bearing spacing used are the same for both the dynatrac and warn lockouts, correct?

OK, I want a set too, what vehicle should I install them on first? I have two trucks, see my sig, the 3500 get less MPG due to DPF, but it only has 20K on the odometer, and the 2500 has 60K on it, so its time to change them before those uni-bearings fail and leave me stranded.

Pete, I am in, no ifs ands or buts. I am Larry Lotton and I live in Trail Oregon 97541. I will PM you with the rest of the info. I feel real good about this and thank you for your work.

Since we have so many people interested, do ya think they'd give us a bigger discount for say 10 or more in the group by? Just a thought.

Tinman, That is a good thought... we can try that, but we have only 4 signed up right now. We need to have everyones name (real name) and city on the list by Sunday night. (You can reply here with your name and city or PM me with your real name and city to be on the list).

We have LLotton, Enafziger, Vintagemixer and myself Trophey Truck...

Awww, WTH, its only money! :D Put me in for a 3rd gen kit, probably going to be keeping it for a while, it only has 214k miles on it now.

Hi Mark, Got you on the list... yeah it's a lot of money, but at least our wheel bearings will be replaced and our front end load will be placed over a better designed wheel bearing set now and the future wheel bearing replacement cost will be considerable cheaper now, our front end will not be turning, our fuel mileage might go up, the rotating mass of the drive shaft axles and t-case will be reduced, our pinion seal will not leak anymore and hopefully our trucks will steer better... and what ever benefits we will hope to acheive... and it's one step closer to a more perfect truck... the way Dodge should have built it in the first place.

I just got the "Boat or truck, which one is it" but I should have an order in by Sun evening, its nice to be able to write it off from business expenses. Looks like my mind was made up for me as to which vehicle to install it on. I'll have to wait for the 2500, or sell it before I need the kit.
