Ok, ive posted a few times, couple 911 posts, and now ive gotten everything in, adjusted, and ready to go.

With the kit, the beast spools faster, pulls harder, and once i get to the end of the gear, keeps pulling till the tach is in the red. However, from a dead stop, pedal to the floor, it will not go past 2250 rpm. I adjusted the governer lever yesterday, now it sits a little bit above the tip on my similar to #6 plate. Thought it might be a little high, but i tried it anyways. Now, when i took it for a spin yesterday, going around a corner, i rugged it, and the tach went up to 3k without a problem with the tires spinning. It seems to be still defueling itself before getting to the end of the gears, as i still have a respectable amount of pedal left after the tach stops going up. Also, i noticed a few days before the GSK went in, that i couldnt feel my TC lock up anymore. Still drives ok, still pulls nice, but no jolt into the seat when it locks up. Someone mentioned TPS for that... . could this have anything to do with it???? Are my springs not tight enough?? whats goin on here?!?!

it'll make it rev higher, but throttle can get touchy and hang in spots... I say go a click tighter and see what it does.

throttle on these trucks is funny... especially when you start cranking them up. 1/4 throttle on the pedal can be 3/4 throttle as far as fuel delivery is concerned.

right on, thanks Forrest. I'll try that out when i get my new air horn to manifold gasket from the wonderful banks people. (Don't hate me cause i got banks)

well, the transmission is going to still want to shift at the same speed/rpm that it's programmed to do so at from the factory... if OD is winding out to 3000rpm and it's making good power all the way there, it's probably right

i thought it would just dump fuel in as fast as it would go... if i mat it, i can let off 1/2'' of pedal before the rpms start dropping. If thats all the kit does, i'm kinda disapointed

not really understanding what you're asking or what the problem is...

the factory valvebody will want to shift around 2200 or so... once the thing is locked up in overdrive, if the truck is pulling hard up to 3000rpm, the GSK is doing all it can.

sounds like you're disappointed with the transmission, not the GSK

lol i've always been disapointed with the transmission! Stock and 360k Km's as a work truck. thought the shift kit and tc would make it a bit higher
