Anyone have any of the bulbs go out on your dash guages? I have two out right now and need a tip or two on how to go about replacing them. Surely mine isn't the only one that this has happened to.
After 160,000 miles, mostly night driving, the volts bulb and the one, I assume, that lights in between the tach and speedo, have gone south. I just need some info on the easiest way to replace them. I hope I don't have to pull the dash apart :{ .
You must remove the cluster, but it looks really easy. Service manual says to remove the clear plastic bezel, then remove the 4 screws that secure the cluster, then pull forward and disconnect the harness. Here is a picture from the service manual.
