What can I expect to pay a shop to install an A-pillar three gauge cluster(EGT, boost and transmission) including the purchase price of the gauges?

I paid $150 for a dual pod that overlaps my OE pod + installation of Pyro & probe, and boost guage.

That was before I found you guys!:{

They are easier than I assumed. :(

P. S. Mine were done buy the diesel guy @ a nearby Dodge Dealer to boot!

At around 350 for the three guages including the a-pillar I got plus the grease gun hose and around four hrs to install, I can say that his labor charge is STEEP:eek:

Sounds like I'm getting hammered. I was quoted $800 for the purchase and install of the three gauges.

Word of advice..... don't walk away from that quote RUN:eek: :--)

I'm scheduled for a 3 hole (tweeter style) filled with Di-Pricol white faced transmission temp, EGT (pre-turbo) and fuel pressure installed for $490. With a boost instead of fuel pressure it was $425 from a TDR recommended local shop. I hope that's about right.

For all the guages together, with parts to install them, plus installition that might be about right.

I don't know about 24V's or Auto's because I don't own one so I've never priced 24V guages(meaning FP) and I've never priced a auto trans guage. I do know that my thermocouple was extra so I imagine pieces to hook up a FP guage and a trans guage are extra. :confused:

Here's what I paid:

Pyro and boost gauges - $175

fuel pressure gauge setup - $70

a-pillar - $50

Install - free, only cost me a few bloody knuckles, as usual.

so the rest will be labor plus the trans temp gauge.
