Guage Lighting

So which wire do I splice into for guage lights. I know I've seen it on here somewhere. I've tried useing the search, but I came up with nothing.



I'm gonna start on the install now, I'll check back in a little bit. Don't make me break out the tester and find out for myself, we don't wanna go there.

pull the entire bracket off that houses your ac vent and light switch on the drivers side... . pops right out! pull the wireharness connection out of the back of the light gauge. then cut the black wire mesh that surrounds the rest of the wires then tap the wire that is orange with the white tracer. easy as pie.

Thanks, sure is easy to find when you know what color wire to look for.



I put two guages in the cubby hole under the a/c controls and I spliced into the orange and white wire there, easy to find. I used the lighter plug wires for the guage power, so all the wiring was right there. I don't really like the guages there, they are hard to see, but it'll have to do for now.
