Anyone install the new guage pod from Geno's that mounts in the center of the dash? Where did you run the wiring? I pushed a heavy wire between the back of the dash and the windshield and it didn't go anywhere like it is sealed. Do you have to drill a hole in the dash to install the gauge pod?

Thanks for any info.

There was a thread on this topic and i think i rember everyone saying they just pushed it down below the windshield. Try wrapping some tape around the wires to make them thicker so they stay tucked in

I have both dash and A piller pods. To go behind the dash, you need to unscrew it and "roll" it back to you away from the windshield, at least on my 97'. I filed a little notch in the edge thinking it would not crush the wires. With the limited amount of space within the pod, to much wire length is a problem. That meant pulling excess wire back through the tight notch which was difficult. I have some work to do on the wiring soon so I am just going to drill a 1" diameter hole below where the pod sits. I figure when the day comes to sell off this truck, the pod goes with it.

Thanks for the info, I e-mailed Vaughn still waiting for a reply. Looks like I might need to drill a small hole to route the wires.
