Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Guage problems

98 12v Guages problems.

Speedometer ,odmoter Some time the tachometer & fuel guages. air bag light comes. but not every time.

Fall to zero stay their for a while & come back up to normal

No set time ,just when they feel like acting up.

shut the engine off re start be ok most of the time.

May be for a few miles or a few days but it comes back.

Have you done a check of electrical grounds. I plan to do mine again soon since time and corrosion sneak up on you. There are quite a few but it doesn't take too long to clean them up.

R C COLA Do you have a drawing on were all grounds should be ? My gauges do the same thing as larry j but my engine also dies when the gauges freak out .

Disconect the speed sensor and spray it with electroinc cleaner will clear it up
