Guages and E brake installed!!!
Since I couldn't get to Muddy's Bomb party, I had a shop put the gauges in for me. I went with the Dipricol pre pyro, and boost. Also went with Jacob's exhaust brake. Haven't had much time to try out the brake yet, but really like the gauges so far. The EGT is really responsive. It hung around 200 idling around town, shot to 1000 on the interstate ramp, then settled at 700 for the 20 miles home at 75 mph, 2200 rpm in 6th gear, no trailer. Boost peaked about 24 on the ramp, then settled to 12-16 depending on uphill or downhill. Do these numbers match what you guys see? The truck is stock except for the gauges... . no black boxes yet.
The lights match stock gauges very well. More on that later.
Still gotta say a BBBIIIGGG thanks to the wife. Oo.
