guages instaled, some questions...

finaly got around to putting the guages in my truck, wow, is it ever nice to put a number on the oil pressure and water temp! i also put in the boost, transmission temp and pyro. will put up pic later, when it's light out.



how warm should the cummins run? i cruised around for a few hours yesterday and it never got over 160* (no load)

transmission sensor is in the pan, it never moved off the 140* pin. right?



pyro never went over 1000, truck has not been tuned up yet.



now the big question, how much boost should i have at idle or when just cruising? mine doesn't leave the 0 pin. i can get a best of 12 when i nail it on an uphill grade. i checked all the rubber boots, in good shape. inter cooler may be swiss chese, i haven't looked at it yet. may haveta bypass it since i'm broke right now :{

NICE looking set up. What did you do for the area where the Message Center was? Where are your WIF, WTS lights? (Any idiot can tell if the park brake is on; ABS is unnecessary). Or did you just scrap them? Overall, nice looking. Gives me ideas for mine... .....

i scraped all that. the wait to start light never worked, i use a push button for the grid heater. water in fuel never came on, either. sensor on the fuel filter is bad.

i get black vynl covered aluminum at work, . 125 thick, used that for the mounting, it matches the dash realy well.

they are auto meter sport-comp, just 'cause i got a great deal on them. teh lower 2 are oil and water, those are equss (sp) from fleet farm. el-cheapo.
