Guages installed--but

Boost and transmission temp working properly but my egt guage promptly climbed to 400 and hasn't moved since. I'm thinking its highly unlikely it could be the probe, almost has to be a bad guage. Anyone know a way to test it for sure? All Di-Pricol guages.

Not much I can add but.

if it is not moving around when you accellerate something is wrong. EGT's move quickly.





I would find out how the probe works, ie does it put out a voltage or vary it's resistance with changes in temperature. Then measure the probe. That way you know which it is and replace that part. Unless it is new then I would just say "no workie!!"
