Could some of you guys point me in the right direction to a set of guages? I wana get a Boost, Pyro and EGT.

Also do they make the A-Pillar mounts for our trucks like they do for the newer ones?

I'm pretty sure they make A-pillar pods but I don't know where to get them. Geno's is a good place to get guages because of the large variety.

MAke sure to check out http://www.dieselmanor.com in your searching. These guys have great customer service and really do a nice job of putting together package deals for you (including gauge pods). You also might want to think about a fuel pressure gauge...

FWIW I have the autometer a pillar mount in my first gen. It is ok, but the gauges face above my head, I can still read them and all, but at kind of an angle. I'm 6'1" tall and my seat is not broken down, but it seems the gauge pod is made for someone about 6'8" tall. It is only a 2 gauge pod, and I'd like to get a pod to put them on the dash.

I got mine from Piers, they sent me pyro, boost, and the a pillar pod.

I just did the same thing. I got a 3 and 4 gauge dash pods (Scheid diesel is the cheapest, or if you prefer to order direct, just call Banks). I purchased a 1 and 2 pod A pillar from Summit Racing and with a little fileing, I now have a 3 pod a pillar. Oo.

As for the A pillar, the gauges do face a little high, but not that bad for me at 6' 2".

I bought the column mount for my 01 with a westac Pyro/Boost combo. Out of curiosity I tried to slip it on the 92 and to my surprise it fit perfectly. Genos advertises them for 94 and up but they fit the earlier columns too.

Ok Ive got another question since this is my first CTD. Which boost guage would be best for me? I dont plan on doing much to the motor, maybe turn up the pump, upgrade the injectors, and throw some 4'' exhaust on it, but nothing more than that. The 0-30 guage should be ok right>

FORGET THE 30PSI boost gauge, with stock injectors and pump tweaks I was running 27 psi, and some Bosch 185's, I am running 30 psi. Get a 60 and you won't have to buy it later... ... you know about that slippery slope.

Michael

Ditto what Micheal said... get the 60 psi gage... or at least a 40.

Someday the needle on my 30 psi gage is going to bend..... :D
