Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) guess 01 hp?

hi, a guy I know has an 01 QC 2500 5spd new so vp44 edge juice, smarty, 150 jammer inj, afe stg2, 4"mbrp, FASS, southbend. turbo is stock hx35. He says hes got over 500hp and makes 43psi without any trouble. what do Y'all think??

im gonna say you cant get 500hp with a stock turbo on that truck. i didnt have mine long enough to learn much about it but id say hes closer to 400hp. maybe a little higher.

Around 440rwhp. BUT, change that turbo and he'll pick up 50-60.

With stock HX, Drag Comp, and DD II's I made 385hp and could push the 40 psi boost gauge to the edge. Now with the Jammer %'s and SPS 66 I'm thinking around 425hp.

with what I have Im around 550Hp. . when I had my stock turbo and just 100hp jammers and a ez I was at 395 and hitting 1100-1200 degrees all the time. .

Now he says he HAD a 99 that had a edge hot juice, 125 inj, a 80hp superchips, NOS, and w/stock turbo @ 46psi on the dyno made 504hp !!!

and it gets 20 mpg loaded. . you do know that dodge used a special 1 time turbo in 99 only a couple of trucks recieved them. .

cough, cough, Bull sh$^*, cough, cough... No matter how much fuel you throw at it you can only burn it with enough air. The stocker just wont do it... btw superchips are only 70 hp on their highest setting so he's already stretching it. If he did do it, that turbo blew up when he was done :-laf:-laf:-laf

Possible with nitrous, but talk about a bandaid for a bigger problem. This guy is not someone you want to take any tips from.

You forgot to mention the BANKS decals !!!!! Maybe 365 on a good day.

At least 425, Jammer 3's smarty and banks gave me 383 on a stock turbo... ...

With Jammer 3s and PM3 on a hx-35 i could hit 47 lbs on my 50 lbs gauge and would hit 1500 degrees about the same time 100 mph came around.
