Guess what I did?

You guys will not believe this but i got a set of older seats into my truck!! It took me about a month to do this. I only had 2 days aweek to work on them. Take a look at the pics. If you are wondering why in the heck i would do this it is because i got sick and tired of my whole right side falling asleep. I knew for a fact the older seats are more comfortable to sit in. This was a very time consuming job and i feel it is worth it to have the comfort. I had to do some serious cutting on the older seats and grinding in order to make them fit. They are a tight fit where the seatbelts are along the doors but other than that they are a great addition to the truck. I have ather pics available for viewing but i have to figure out how to download them.

Nice work!!! Are you going to have them changed over to leather? What are you doing with the old seats???

Wow, I had a 99 Ram V10 with power seats that I didn't like.

My new 06 CTD has better seats in my opinion. Maybe its just the Diesel.

Man, I sure wish I could have the bucket seats from my 93 back!

Like a typical lot jocky salesman would know those aren't the correct seats... most of those boneheads don't know the difference between an ST and an SLT, let alone individual options...



Looks good... I'm probably going to have an apholstery shop re-do the foam in mine...

Yeah,I'm with you Steve. My '07 seats are quite comfortable,albeit firm. If they deteriorate in the future,I'll take them in to a pro.

not selling

i do not plan to sell this truck. This is more than likely the last truck i will buy. But that is what i said when i paid off the '02 I had. The only seat i have left that is still in tact is the passenger one. the drivers side and the center console are hacked up and are now trash. I tried the under seat foam fix with the original seats and it did not work for me.
