Guitar players: what to do with Schaller straplock nut problem??

Guys--



I lost the little nut that holds the straplock into the strap holes. Where can I find that stupid little nut without having to buy new straplocks?



I won't pay $30 for a dumb little nut.



I've tried the local hardware places with no luck. It's similar to the thin nut that goes over most generic toggle switches, but those are the wrong size.





Any help would be appreciated.

Hohn, i had the same problem on one of my guitars, I had to buy new straplocks, as the nut was nowhere to be found. I guess in the end it worked out better anyway, white guitar needed black straplocks had chrome.
